Project Details

Original house was cedar siding with an asphalt roof, wood entry steps, a wood deck and handrails, wood chimney, standard non-heated driveway. The customer wanted to go for a more modern look, with a combination of stainless steel and stucco. We demoed the entire deck, widened the stairs, and fabricated a new custom stain case and handrails. The deck got rebuilt, with similar dimensional lumber, the we changed the structure so to could hold the stainless steel fascia and the custom handrails. We finished it off with TimberTech composite decking. On the deck with installed custom benches around the deck. The wooden planters were removed and replaced with multi-colored powder coated metal planters. Underneath the deck there is a custom metal dry-below system draining into custom fabricated stainless steel gutter drainage systems.

On the house we installed a complete 5/8″ Hard Coat stucco system on the house. On the chimney we installed stone to help break up the stucco. All the soffit and fascia got coated with metal as well. The roof was replaced with high-end standing seam stainless steel roof. complete with high temp rubber membrane backing to help ensure no moisture intrusion.

The driveway is rather steep, and is hard to keep free of snow and ice. To solve this issue, we completed demoed the existing driveway and installed a full glycol heated system. Because the driveway is so long, we broke the system into several zones. This helps the system to operate, and allows for easier trouble shooting in the event the system needs it. The concrete was installed with decorative expansion joints and a box drain at the bottom, with a custom fabricated grate system.
